Abstract
In Indonesia nurse turnover often occurs in private hospitals, because private hospitals are a form of company that has internally regulated rules and guidelines or commitments. The nurse's turnover is influenced by work dissatisfaction factors due to inadequate compensation, unclear hospital regulation, no appreciation and self-improvement so that employee commitment is low. This study aims to determine the motivation and performance of nurses with many levels of nurse turnover. This type of descriptive research using Cross Sectional approach. Sample of 16 respondents, Proportionate Random Sampling Sampling Technique. The measuring tool used is the questionnaire. The results showed that most nurses with moderate motivation were 8 respondents (50%), and most of the nurses with moderate performance were 9 respondents (56.25%). Based on the results of research conducted got results that high turnover rate influential with the motivation and performance of nurses in the room. So the research is expected to be a reference for hospitals and nurses to reduce the number of turnover and improve the motivation and performance of nurses.
