Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employees’ performance it focused on mothers and children hospitals in East Java Province. Indonesia Design/Methodology/Approach – The 89 nurses and midwives in 3 hospitals in East Java. The respondents were selected based on population study technique, while path analysis was used analyze data. Findings from the results, the following conclusions were made: (1) the transformational leadership style significantly influences OCB; (2) the organizational culture significantly influences OCB; (3) the transformational leadership significantly influences employees’ performance; (4) the organizational culture insignificantly influences employees’ performance; and (5) OCB significantly influences nurses’ performance. This is among the few studies that take into account the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on OCB, particularly in nurses working in mother and children hospitals
