AN ANALYSIS OF EDUCATIONAL VALUES IN MCFARLAND MOVIE.

Abstract
This research was conducted to find the educational values shown in the
"McFarland" movie. The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out educational
values from “McFarland” movie, 2) To find out the way educational values are
presented in “McFarland” movie. Qualitative descriptive research is used in this
research. The data was taken from the script of "McFarland" movie. The results of
this study found that there are 8 educational values in the "McFarland" movie,
namely: 1) Self-confidence; 2) Friendly and Politeness; 3) Love; 4) Forgiveness; 5)
Optimism; 6) Being Helpful; 7) Responsibility, 8) Hardwork. Educational values in
this film are presented in the form of words and actions.
