Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the results of the analysis in students' English speaking skills by using animation video for elementary school students in Sedati for the academic year 2022/2023. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The research used checklist observation instruments, field notes and interviews with teachers as well as documentation during the learning process to obtain the materials needed by researchers. This research was conducted in 3rd grade to be precise in class 3-B. Researchers made observations to determine the activities and responses of teachers to obtain the validity of the data in this study, then the researchers conducted interviews and wrote down the results of teacher interviews. The results of this study indicate that students are interested in animation video as learning media, and the results of this study animation videos can develop students' learning abilities, especially in English lessons that focus on English speaking skill.
