A CASE STUDY OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS MOTIVATION ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING.

Abstract
This research focused of the study are the problems faced by students in English
Language Learning at SMP Kyai Hasyim and the strategies to increase the students
motivation to learn English Language Learning at SMP Kyai Hasyim. This research
method was used to describe the motivation of SMP Kyai Hasyim students in English
Language Learning. Case study also one of the methods in this research. Case study the
ability to identify problems, the ability to identify, and the ability to provide or conclude.
Data Analysis techniques of this research are checklist observations, Field notes,
interviews, and documentations. Data Analysis techniques of this research are data
collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. From the research result only a
few students who had intrinsic motivation in learning English because they had the
suitable to learn and want to achieve.
