Abstract
This research was conducted to find out implementation of mind mapping
to improve students writing skill in an English course. The aims of this study
are The study is purposed to describe how the mind mapping improves the
writing skills of the students in an English course. Qualitative descriptive is a
research method used in this study. The result of this study found that : 1) mind
mapping boost creativity to generate ideas. 2) mind mapping improves the
productivity in writing. 3) mind mapping helps students organize ideas. 4) mind
mapping is a fun way of improving writing skills.
